    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was commissioned by Professor Marcel van Jole and was fabricated sometime before 1964. Professor van Jole donated the statue to the Antwerp Alumni, who in turn donated it to the college in 1968. Plaque on ground in front of sculpture reads: WISDOM/REMY CORNELISSEN (BELGIAN BORN 1913)/GIFT OF MARCEL VAN JOLE, 1968. IAS files contain a related article from the college newspaper, The Leader, March 22, 1968, pg. 1, 11.
