    Description: 
    Relief depicts workers rebuilding Chicago after the Great Fire of 1871, which destroyed the central city. There are four male figures dressed as workmen engaged in hammering, sawing, and measuring. Two male figures are on each side of a central allegorical female figure. Another allegorical classical female figure floats over this figure group. This relief is one of four installed on the Michigan Avenue bridge pylons.
