    Description: 
    Two bronze figures on a stone base. One figure is a World War I infantryman advancing through the stumps and barbed wire of No Man's Land. He holds a rifle in his proper left hand and a grenade in his upraised proper right hand. The other figure is a sailor holding his cap in his upraised proper right hand. Both figures are in uniform. Between the two figures, a small section of the base extends up, with a vintage machine gun mounted on top. On the plaque on the base is a relief of an eagle with wings spread, above the inscription.
