    Description: 
    Four evangelists, each mounted in a niche sheltered by a pediment supported by columns on the sides of the bell tower. Each evangelist wears a robe and beard and has a halo over his head. The south face has St. Matthew, holding tablets in his proper left hand. The balding figure of St. Mark is on the east face. He holds an open book in his proper left hand and points to a page with a finger of his proper right hand. St. Luke holds something in his arms on the north face. And the west face has St. John, holding an unfurled scroll in his proper left hand.
