COLE/FIRST AFRICAN AMERICAN FEMALE PRESIDENT OF SPELMAN COLLEGE signed Description:  An African-American woman holds up a small, nude child before her face. An older child stands at the woman's proper right side with its arms around her thighs. The sculpture is mounted upon a square base with an inscription on the front. Remarks:  Sculpture is a tribute to Johnnetta B. Cole, the first African American female president of Spelman College.
